Founded in 1996 by Tim Smythe, the company’s brands include the AUTOSLAM™ Automated Drywall Corner Trim System, NO-COAT® Structural Laminate Drywall Corners (ULTRAFLEX™, ULTRATRIM™, ULTRA ARCH™), ULTRATOOL™ Drywall Finishing Tools and Accessories, and LEVELLINE™ Drywall Corner Trim.
The company’s AUTOSLAM™ Automated Drywall Corner Trim System is ushering in a new technological era in the drywall industry, and its NO-COAT® structural laminate drywall corners are rapidly gaining ground against traditional corner materials such as metal, vinyl, and paper faced metal bead.
This market success has allowed the company to invest heavily in its advanced product development efforts, with a team of full time engineers working on a pipeline of future products and accessories. In 2007, the company consolidated its operations in a new facility in Bend, Oregon that houses both its administrative offices and manufacturing – its third facility in ten years.
