Tim Smythe – Founder & Chairman
Tim Smythe began his career as a drywall contractor in Hawaii. Frustrated with the poor quality and inefficiencies of metal corner bead, Smythe began to search for a solution that would speed installation and save on labor and material costs. As a result, he developed the first
NO-COAT® drywall corner in 1996. This experiment ultimately became ULTRAFLEX™, a flex roll product designed for challenging off-angle applications. As Chairman, he is closely involved in the research, design and creation of new products and technologies.

Bill Scannell –  CEO
During his tenure with the company, Scannell has played a pivotal role in guiding the growth and development of the company – through the perils of a startup enterprise to the complexities of a rapidly maturing corporation. Most recently, Scannell served as President at the company. He joined Structus in 1997 during the early stages of its growth and was promoted to National Sales Manager in 2000, and President in 2005. Prior to joining Structus, Scannell held executive positions with both Transcontinental Development Corporation (Waikoloa, Hawaii) and Raytheon (Waltham, Massachusetts).

Dave Slavensky – Chief Operating Officer

Dave Slavensky joined Structus as Vice President of Operations in 2004. Since that time, he has transformed the company’s manufacturing division into a highly efficient operation capable of handling the complexities of a growing product line. He has also been instrumental in developing the strategic focus of the company. Prior to Structus, he was a Manufacturing Consultant for the Oregon Manufacturing Extension Partnership (OMEP). He also served as VP of Operations at KVP (Sacramento, California) and was a consultant with California Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC). He began his career as a manufacturing engineer in the aerospace industry and spent over five years in various management positions with 3M
